still striving to lose weight!

LOL and i'm still fat. engagement party and Chinese New Year is just around the corner. find it so humiliating when i have to tell the sales girls to get me the largest size for the pants. sigh. maybe i should try more liquid diet later on.

the proposal didnt turn out the way it should be. i was very tired not feeling well sleeping, he woke me up to say this say dat. den when i din answer him, he jus came up onto the bed n lie beside me, den throw da rings beside me, ask me to wear myself. den i terus din care bout him la. continue sleep. den he ask me to turn around, den ask me to marry him. i havent answer he ade help me wear ring.

century egg porridge

i was sick previously, and craving for century egg porridge! although its not as tasty as the ones sold in food stalls, but at least it tasted good enough for a beginner.

ingrediants : dried scallops, long grain rice soaked overnight, minced chicken meat[seasoned with corn flour, sesame oil, sugar, soysauce], century egg, fried garlic oil, spring onions.

what i did was, i dumped everything into the slowcooker[other than the spring onions, century egg and fried garlic that we're going to use as garnish], boiled for 4hours. do remember to stir the porridge every 15minutes. best served while piping hot!

ok, a new blog!

lol i changed another blog again. been abandoning and using new blogs again n again. never fulfill my promise to update them though..

lots of things happened these few weeks, hard to list them all down. now i'm on the stage that i dont really know whether i'm doing the right thing or not. it seems that i'm too young to get engaged! not mature enough, did not consider bout financial problems, not even sure whether i chosed the right guy or not!

talked to mummy again this morning, she told me again, that its okay to get engaged, as the commitments that we're giving in is not that much to handle. LOL and she thinks i found the right guy! was not feeling right about the engagement. is an engagement suppose to give someone a title of future Mrs. Ong, or just to declare that i'm no longer available? i love him and i'm willing to give in, but i'm too afraid to look at the consequences.

so lets just think twice again before saying "i do" when he proposes. wonder how it'll be. its like every girl's dream to have a nice nice memorable proposal from the boyfriend. hope mine would be nice enough. it doesnt have to be grand, just want it to be, "love-proving". told him to postphone it a little bit. did not give him a timeline. lets see when he'll propose to me..i think he heard me, he was half alseep..haha..

something i wanna tell you dear..

for all those things we've went through together, i'm willing to give in everything for you in the future. i hope that we'll both be ready someday, get our nice nice wedding ceremony done, like how you've suggested, you want it to be grand. i'll fulfill my promise to register our marriage on 090909, but we have to work very hard to get our dream wedding done! we'll have a really nice one, so that everyone can remember our wedding. u told me that u prefer a buffet style wedding than a wedding dinner, so lets have both. one in the afternoon, one at night. looking forward to that day.

it has been already a week since i last posted something in this blog, but this is certainly not the time yet. the keyboard in my hometown, is abit, faulty. in fact, it is very faulty.

jack-jack's birthday!

Last saturday, 09/09/07 is jack-jack's birthday!

i booked this cake for him around a month ago for him to celebrate his birthday in BU park's event with his friends! that day, we dressed him up like a nice gentleman. He was so excited when we took out his leesh and collar, he knew we're bringing him out.

look at the cake, although its not 100% perfect, but my pups smelled and licked da cake even before his friends could taste it. Its made out of apple, cream cheese, and chicken. Mikey, jenny's shih tzu loved the cake very much, probably due to his "fasting", refuse to eat for a few days.. too bad my pups did'nt want to taste the cake - too picky, only likes raw meat and their vege puree. the cake has a line of kibbles below, and it smells really cheesy. Big thanks to Venetia and Joan for helping me with the cake!

on the 10th, sunday, we went to SushiKin for the yearly 2nd sushi bonanza. i love sushi, but due to tight budget, i guess, Sushikin it is..haha..
rm2 per plate. lets see what we've got here..
